Ponytail

Dancing-something she does all day long~

Can you believe how big she looks.

Lilly can finally wear her hair in a ponytail! The first time I did it, she said it looked like Malaina's. She was so excited! I have to say, it looks pretty cute-but it makes her look so big!

More Birthdays

On June 1st, my dad turned 60. I didn't even realize that he was going to be 60 until I ran into someone that knows my dad and mentioned it. I can't believe my dad is 60... so that only means I am getting old too! My dad looks great, he's healthy and definitelydoesn't seem 60. He's still working (part time), although sometimes we keep him full time between my house, the salon and my sisters house! But, all in all, my dad is doing great! So, it was just another birthday. Age doesn't mean a thing... right? We celebrated at my parents house with a delicious dinner, cake and silly kids! Of course, a birthday in our family means the kids blow out the candles and act as though it's their birthday! They loved helping my dad open his cards and presents.

What would a celebration be with out music and dancing. There was plenty of live entertainment- the kids love dancing to Black Eyed Peas! We also celebrated Stacie Lynn's birthday. She turned 31! Happy Birthday Dad and Stacie. We wish you a year full of love, health and happiness!

Memorial Day Parade

We weren't able to go out to the cottage this year because my dad had a small surgery and the rest of the family was out of town. Actually, it wasn't that bad staying home and catching up on things around the house. Plus, we got to venture out to the Walled Lake Memorial Day Parade. We were invited to set up camp at the Lynch n' Son's Funeral Home. (one of my 2nd graders family own's it). It was prime seating complete with food, water and a place for the kids to go to the bathroom if they needed too. It was great! I took my mom, and brother with his family. The kids had a ball seeing the parade and frankily, the adults did too. Lilly, Preston and Lanie collected tons of candy. It was hot, but worth it. I even got my base tan (sunburn) for the summer!
