Baby Tarchalski is almost done Brewing

As of today, I officially have 3.5 more weeks left of carrying around my little man. It's gone by fast. When I look back on when I found out I was pregnant and now here I am getting ready to bring a new life into this world, it's so crazy. We've been busy getting his room ready, getting sprinkled and making sure we are spending lots of time with our first born, sweet Lilly. We are beyond excited to add to our family, but I often think about how things are going to be so different with 2. Lilly is 5 1/2 and becoming more and more independent with things. Our new little man is going to change our lives, but in a good way. Back to no sleep and being needed every minute of the day!! This is a blessing and we feel so lucky to be parents yet again! My family has been beyond supportative and my friends too! The love for this little man is much appreciated.

Here is a  belly pictures. I don't take many, so this is 1 of maybe 5! Ha

Here's a glimpse into the nursery.
My mom, sister and Stacie Lynne organized a sprinkle for our little man. It was fun for big sister, Lilly to help open presents and be apart of.

Life in the Tarchalski House

Most weekends are filled with family activities. When we can, we always try to fit in time with friends, but it's difficult! Lilly is in dance again this year, so our Tuesday nights are busy with that. As mentioned in my last post, she joined girl scouts so that's every other Monday after school. Then, other evenings are filled with who knows what, but they always seemed to be filled. If we are home, we try to squeeze in some baking, painting, playing and just relaxing!
Watching Genevieve and Sagan grow and learn is so much fun! I love these 2.

 Our little ballerina.

Baking is always a favorite at our house.
Painting, coloring, drawing or any craft is Lilly's activity to do. I am sure she'll be an artist when she grows up. Her drawings are really good.
Playing with Jordan and Maddie is another favorite of Lillys.
And of course, hanging out with Sagan is a sure way to make anyone smile.

Fall

Ryan and I had our annual Twilight Benefit Cruise in September. I am a board member of this fantastic foundation, so this night means a lot to me! It was spent with good company! We raised money to support 2 wonderful boys. This was us headed out for a fun night!
To kick off our Fall festivites, we planned a family trip to Greenfield Village. The kids loved walking around and getting treats! Lilly loved everything except the spooky bridge! Good thing Lita was close by, she ran right into her arms and was saved by my mom. Being in the arms of your grandma while making your way through a dark haunted bridge is always better than being in moms arms.
We also went to the cider mill with her girl scout troop. This is a nice group of girls that Lilly is buidling friendships with!
 She picked a pumpkin...
And filled up bags with apples from the apple trees.
We had a fun time together on this field trip. It was after school so I could be apart of the fun!I'm excited that she joined girl scouts, they're always doing neat trips and learning how to be considerate of others and their community.
Super Girl was her costume this year! I'd like this little lady to rescue me if I were in danger! How cute is she? Ryan took her trick or treating while I stayed home and passed out candy. The wet weather is not my thing! Good thing for dads!

I thinks she got enough candy! Good thing she forgets about it the next day. We still have a huge bowl full.

Lilly Goes to Kindergarten

Lilly's first day of school at Walled Lake Elementary.

Lilly and her teacher, Ms. Flowers on her first day of kindergarten.

Lilly joined me this year at my school, Walled Lake Elementary. We go to school together each morning! It was an adjustment at first, having a partner in crime each morning, but now that we've been doing this for several weeks, we are both use to our new routine. It's nice having her at school with me. I get to see her in the hallways, outside walking in from recess, heading to art and much more. It's fun to see her, plus it doesn't feel like I am away from her all day. She LOVES her teacher and loves going to school. She's becoming less shy during her school days; she'll talk to most of the teachers and answer their questions. I love that everyone is looking out for her. I knew that when I brought her to my school, she'd be taken care of, and she definately is. This couldn't be a better place for her to grow as a 5 year old and a learner!

Summers Over

Lilly had Laurel and Emma spend the night. They were so excited to spend the day and night together!

We went to Torch Lake with my friends from work. The girls loved playing in the sand, swimming and just doing whatever. Both nights we had a bonfire and rosted marshmellows. Torch Lake is absolutely beautiful, I hope to go again!

We watched Sagan over night while my sister and Saylor went to a wedding. He's a doll and we loved having him. Lilly is such a big help. This was a glimps into what our lives are going to be like soon.

One weekend we took Sophie and Will with us out to the cottage. The kids had a ball swimming, running around and just being kids.
And, we wrapped up our summer by taking a last trip out to the cottage. I love this picture of Lilly and my dad. They were in deep conversation!
Summer's over, which means time to get back to the hustle and bustle of school, work, dance and busy schedules! I'm thankful for the time that I had off.

Welcome Baby Genevieve

My brother and his wife Stacie welcomed their new baby girl, Genevieve Magdalene. Preston and Malaina are great siblings already. Malaina especially loves to help Stacie with everything! Sweet Genevieve is doing well. Can you believe all the dark hair? Stacie and Ryan's kids are always born with a full head of hair and they don't lose it! We are all very excited for them! Congrats you two! xo

Farm Camp at Hess Hathaway Farm

Lilly went to farm camp with her friends Kaylin, Caroline and Caitlyn. She LOVED it! Each day the kids learned about a different animal. They also fed the animals and got to pet them. Lilly's favorite animal was the bunny! Each day they were there, the kids would sit in a circle and the bunny would hop around. She loved it so much that she asked if she could go everyday for the rest of the summer.

Summer Fun

Summer is in full swing! We've been busy pretty much everyday! Lilly has had many play dates with friends that she doesn't always get to see during the school year and I've gotten to catch up with their moms! We've also celebrated several birthday's this summer, which means lots of parties! Of course, when we can, we've squeezed time on the boat at my sisters house and dips in the lake at my parents. Lilly would prefer a pool over the lake, but will make the best of it. We had the chance to swim at my girlfriends pool, and Grandma Cookie's pool, they were both beautiful! When I leave any pool, it always makes me want one of my own. And, of course we've spent time with family. June has passed and July is on it's way out. Memories have been made! We have about 4 1/2 weeks left of summer, which means more fun!
