Baby #3 for Stacie and Ryan

The happy family of 2 will soon be the happy family of 3... with 1 boy and 2 girls! Super excited for them!! Congratulations to my brother and Stacie!!

Easter 2013

This year for Easter, we dyed eggs at home and left the Easter Bunny a note the night before! Lilly wrote " Dear Easter Bunny, will you please bring me a present"... the Easter Bunny brought her a present and more! Always a reason to open gifts, right? Well, she was very appreciated! and that's what matters most, I think :) Anyways, after Easter morning, we had Ryan's family over for brunch. It was perfect and delish. We hosted! From there, we went to Ryan and Stacie's for Easter dinner. The kids played, hunted for eggs and kept busy while the adults patiently waited to find out what my brother and sister n law were expecting.  At this point, I know everyone knows, but the anticipation on that day was killing us! Check out the next post.

What to do when it's cold, warm, raining, snowing and just plain unpredictable?

 Hula Hoop?
Go to the Harlem Glob Trotters?

 Dance with cousins?

Or dress for all kinds of weather- these days in Michigan you just don't know!!

Mid-Winter Break

Bath time is always fun, Lilly loves to play and draw all over the tub~
 Baking homemade oatmeal cookies.
If you ask her what she wants to be when she grows up, she'll tell you a rock star and a teacher. Sometimes a doctor will come up too!
Still LOVES her princess dresses and playing dress up.

Beauty Shop! Cutting hair like her Titi.

In February, Walled Lake takes a Mid-Winter break. Can I just say, it's fabulous! Unfortunately, for me, I was sick. It worked out though, because I didn't have to take any time off from work. Plus, this kept us close to home. We baked, played dress up, danced, had beauty shop time (Ryan is a good sport) and just did whatever. I mainly rested on the couch, while Lilly kept busy. When I finally felt better, we ventured to Great Lakes Crossing and hit Rain Forest Cafe. It was my first time, and Lilly's 2nd. She loves it there. It's a great place for kids to eat, so much to look at and all kinds of noises! After we ate, we walked over to the play area and she rode a few rides and jumped around! I think that was our busiest day.

Valentine's Day

Lilly is always excited for any holiday or party! Getting goodie bags and decorations together is her cup of tea! Each month, she'll ask me what holiday is next! Girlfriend doesn't like to miss a good party. For Valentine's Day this year, she had a party at school and with her friends at Miss Kelly's. She made bags for the kids and signed her name on her cards. That evening, Ryan and I took her to her favorite, "Rockin Robins" for dinner. Spending Valentine's Day with my 2 favorite people, was perfect! Hope yours was too!

A Little Bit of This and a Little Bit of That

Having lunch at our favorite resturant "Rockin Robins" aka Red Robin!
Rockin out with her new CD player!
Fancy hair- Thanks Aunt Shell and Jordan!
Family movie night, all snuggled up!

I LOVE her hair in braids! Isn't it sooo long!
                                                                    Just being silly!
Waiting for Tinkerbell to begin at the Northville Marquis Theater.
Out of order- this is before we left for the play.
Patiently waiting for the play to begin!
Getting ready for Valentine's Day- decorating her mailbox.

And... that's a wrap! With all of these activities that we've been doing, sneaking a "power nap" in, is just what she needs!
